What is Microsoft Intune?
Microsoft Intune is a cloud-based endpoint management solution that manages your access to IHP/MGB resources, including applications such as Epic, as well as SharePoint and other resources. It simplifies application and device management across your many devices, including mobile devices and desktop computers. When you enroll in Microsoft Intune, you will be able to use your Windows 11/10, iOS, Android and Mac(laptop/iphone/ipad) devices with the peace of mind that your data is secure, and your device is compliant with IHP/MGB's policies.
Why you must enroll in Microsoft Intune
If you access any IHP/MGB applications or resources via a personal device, including iPhone, Android or tablet, you must enroll in Microsoft Intune. If you do not enroll, you’ll lose access to these resources.
Will MGB access my personal data when I enroll in Intune?
Please be assured that when you enroll your personal device into Intune, MGB cannot view, edit, or delete any of your personal data including:
MGB can only view non-personal device information (e.g. carrier and country, IMEI, MAC Address, etc.), and the phone number of the device (only devices with cellular connectivity). Your personal data remains personal. Only content created/communicated using MGB managed applications, including mobile apps like MGB’s Microsoft 365 Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Voalte Me, Workspace App, Service Now, etc., is accessible to MGB.
Can I use my phone's default or 3rd party email clients to access my MGB work email?
